The journal México y la Cuenca del Pacífico (Mexico and the Pacific Rim) is a quarterly publication of the Department of Pacific Studies, and the University Center for the Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidad de Guadalajara. Its objective is to disseminate the research of specialists on cultural, economic, political and social aspects of the economies belonging to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, as well as the integration and cooperation processes within the region. The publication aims to contribute, from an academic perspective to a deeper understanding of the Asia-Pacific region to support decision-making of those involved in the transpacific relations.
