Abstract

SAN BARTOLOME, Ángel  and  RIOS, Rafael. Comportamiento a fuerza cortante de muros delgados de concreto reforzados en su zona central con barras de acero, fibra de polipropileno y con fibra de acero. Concr. cem. investig. desarro [online]. 2013, vol.5, n.1, pp.2-16. ISSN 2007-3011.

The thin reinforced concrete walls present the problem of reinforcement congestion that usually leads to the formation of voids and segregation of the concrete. To control the problem described, it was considered the possibility of replacing the conventional bars mesh located at the central part of the wall for polypropylene and metallic fiber. To verify the hypothesis, tests were conducted of cyclic lateral loading applied to shear walls with the three types of reinforcement indicated, while ductile bending reinforcement remained constant.

Keywords : reinforced concrete; polypropylene fiber; steel fiber; earthquake; wall; test.
