Abstract

SERRA, María N.. De la sangre al cosmos: Reflexiones sobre "el sentido de pertenencia" a partir de Antígona, Romeo y Julieta y Las aves. En-clav. pen [online]. 2011, vol.5, n.10, pp.21-37. ISSN 2594-1100.

Why is relevant the belonging question? Why is pertinent asking how individuals feel themselves as a part of space of relationships? The idea of membership should be thinking in new ways and not only as a political affiliation, if we consider that we are living in a period in which national sovereignty has been frayed and national citizenship has broken down and fragmented into new processes. The theoretical refection developed from antigone, Romeo and Juliet and The Birds was set up as a retrieval of past stories that allows us to create new categories and point of view to understand the ways in which individuals create emotional ties to their spaces of relations. Belongings related to new referents and types of contact, practices and categorizations that in our time must be linked both global interconnections and new boundaries created by technologies.

Keywords : Belonging; cosmopolitanism; social ties; Antigone; Romeo and Juliet; The Birds.
