Abstract

RAMIREZ ALBORES, Jorge E.. Presence of the Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) in southwestern Puebla, Mexico. Huitzil [online]. 2010, vol.11, n.1, pp.42-45. ISSN 1870-7459.

I document the presence of the Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) in two localities of southwestern Puebla, Mexico. Records were obtained from January to March 2009. There are no previous records of this species in southwestern Puebla; therefore, this study provides new information about its presence in the region.

Keywords : tropical deciduous forest; Tlancualpicán; Huehuetlán El Chico; new record.
