Abstract

GARZA SALDIVAR, Norma. The space of memory. Acta poét [online]. 2009, vol.30, n.2, pp.151-165. ISSN 2448-735X.

The urban and literary space, the city and the work are for Walter Benjamin spaces where we have experiences. Therefore by traveling through passages, streets and cities, and by wandering through his fragmentary work, the conditions to make an object visible are created. Walking and reading these spaces as a possibility for experience and history, will be based on dialectical images in order to configure, in the same place, what it has been and what it is now, ruin and progress, as an act of memory and political and intimate gaze.

Keywords : space; experience; memory.
