Mission
Cuadernos de Lingüística de El Colegio de México is an electronic journal edited twice-a-year. Its objective is to disseminate and promote linguistic research on different languages without preference to any theoretical frame in particular. The aim is that published works contribute to the understanding of natural languages either from a theoretical or purely descriptive point of view. The journal is aimed at the international academic community (researchers, professors and students) specialized in Linguistics. Published documents include research articles and notes, reviews on general linguistic topics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics), from synchronous, diachronic or sociolinguistic perspectives. While we have no restrictions regarding to languages of study, works on underrepresented languages are especially welcome. Papers may be published in Spanish or English. All articles and research notes undergo a strict double blind arbitration process. Access to all journal contents is free, non-commercial and without fees to readers or authors. This publication is financed with public funds administered by El Colegio de México, A.C.
