The objective of Salud Mental is to disseminate the scientific and academic activities carried out by the Instituto Mexicano de Psiquiatría. The journal aims to support the continuing education of Mental Health professionals. It addresses a wide range of topics related to Psychiatry, Brain Science and Behavior, Epidemiology and the study of Drug-dependence. Salud Mental accepts original contributions from Mexico and abroad in Spanish including English abstracts. The journal is the official communication medium of the Institute.
