The Institute publishes the Anales del Instituto de Investigaciones Estéticas (Annals). This journal deals with several branches of art criticism and art history, particularly of Mexican art, in which the researchers of this Institute are engaged. Additionally, throughout its history, Anales has included collaborations by reputed researchers from around the world. Between 1937 and 1993 the review was published once a year, as of 1994 Anales will appear twice a year.
