Abstract
KLEIN, Alejandro. Family reorganizations and grandparent-grandchild bonds: contribution of elements about generational transmission to criminal behavior in adolescence. Cultura representaciones soc [online]. 2022, vol.16, n.32, e0001985. Epub Apr 21, 2023. ISSN 2007-8110.
The following paper seeks to raise some questions about how family organizations are currently being reconfigured and how new types of links are emerging within them, especially those that make up the grandparent-grandchild relationship. It highlights how this link is fundamental, as a transmitter of generational content, indicating how a state of abandonment can be assumed to be transmitted from grandparents to grandchildren. But it is also indicated how the same grandparenthood can be a factor of abandonment towards the grandparents themselves. It is also suggested to frame this point of view from a generational abandonment where the social bond is not capable of generating integration or a worthy version of grandparents and parents as an available inheritance. Finally, it should be noted that the central objective of this work is to update the state of the question, making a journey through different contributions and different authors, which, as will be appreciated, reveal different contradictions. They are exposed in their character as such, perhaps revealing the profound complexity of the subject.
