ASIAN CANCHIS, Hugo Enrique; RAMIREZ LINARES, Silvia Raquel; REYES CABRERA, Neptali Antony  and  NAVARRO DEPAZ, Carlos Edmundo. Treatment of university student stress through dance. Dilemas contemp. educ. política valores [online]. 2021, vol.8, n.3, 00012.  Epub June 11, 2021. ISSN 2007-7890.  https://doi.org/10.46377/dilemas.v8i3.2627.

The present experimental research work aims to establish the influence of dance practice as a means of reducing stress in students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, and in order to meet this objective, it has been developed a rich theoretical framework that deals with stress considering the effects to reduce this variable through the practice of dance. The type of research was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test applied to 200 students per experimental and control group. The result shows that there is a significant development between the control group that carried out the experiment and the group that did not carry out the experiment.

Keywords : stress; university stress; academic stress; dance.
