Abstract

DAMIAN SIMON, Javier. Systematizing Experiences in Entrepreneurship Education in Elementary Schools. RMIE [online]. 2013, vol.18, n.56, pp.159-190. ISSN 1405-6666.

Entrepreneurship Education (EE) in elementary schools in Mexico is currently an emerging topic of discussion, analysis, and research. Institutions like Mexico's Secretariat of Public Education and National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education make efforts to address the topic, yet much remains to be done in training the teachers who work at this level to enable them to master and develop the contents of EE in the classroom. For this reason, and as a result of our experience in working with EE from the elementary to the university level, we are presenting and sharing in this article a systematization of educational experiences for working with entrepreneurship topics in the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school.

Keywords : entrepreneurs; systematization; teaching strategies; learning experiences; elementary education; Mexico.
