TERAN BUSTAMANTE, Antonia; DAVILA ARAGON, Griselda and CASTANON IBARRA, Rosario. Management of Technology and Innovation: A Bayesian Network Model. Econ: teor. práct [online]. 2019, n.50, pp.63-100. ISSN 2448-7481. https://doi.org/10.24275/etypuam/ne/502019/teran.
The aim of this research is to study and analyze the management of technology and innovation through Bayesian Networks. A model was made to identify and quantify the several factors that have an impact to manage technology and in innovation. A case analysis carried out in Mexico City in a technology-based service company is studied. A Bayesian Network is a structure that represents the understanding of a process and its dependencies (cause and effect), the optimal or non-optimal management of the technology evidenced through the causality of the variables that they allow to capture in an adequate way the interrelation to manage, and innovate, across probabilistic reasoning and graphics. The results show that the most relevant factors are human capital, knowledge management, and computer security.
