Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the Mexican political parties’ internal structure focused on their bodies of education, advice, and research (think tanks). The parties are analyzed individually and, subsequently, they are compared and classified as: a single body concentrates these functions (PRD); there are bodies specialized in a single function (PVEM); there are different bodies that perform multiple functions (pt and mc); and there is a combination of specialized bodies along with others that perform multiple functions (PAN, PRI and MORENA).
