Abstract

RUIZ-TOLEDO, Jovani  and  SANCHEZ-GUILLEN, Daniel. Effect of the concentration of glyphosate present in body waters near transgenic soybean fields on the honeybee Apis mellifera, and the stingless bee Tetragonisca angustula. Acta Zool. Mex [online]. 2014, vol.30, n.2, pp.408-413. ISSN 2448-8445.

We evaluated the toxicity of field concentrations of glyphosate on the mortality of two bee species occurring in the Soconusco Region, Chiapas, Mexico. We did not find any significant difference in the mortality between exposed and control groups.
