This document aims to verify the importance of having an adequate regulatory framework for the use of Blockchain Technology in Mexico in relation to the protection of personal data held by individuals, for which the transcendence of the use of the blockchain in different activities and some specific issues that intertwine it with that fundamental right are briefly studied, as well as its benefits and the challenges of its implementation in the public sphere.
