The text is a review of a book written by Fabio Alexis de Ganges López, Chiapanequismo. La formación de una región histórica, cultural, e imaginaria en revistas del Ateneo de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas (Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, 2021). The book under review is the result of an investigation that is original and provocative of new insights about the history of the ideas and the intellectuals in Chiapas.
