This essay addresses the process of male-female transformation of Karla-Sí, a young woman on the northern border of Mexico. For this, feminist and postcolonial theoretical approaches are used, from which four theoretical categories of analysis were constructed, although deeply interrelated, each offer specific epistemological possibilities: body-power, political edge, disposability-reification, and violence. In this advance my interests is to share the impact of the trans in the appropriation of the public space.
