Far from the old paradigm which insisted in their negligence, Spanish immigrants formed in City of Mexico meritorious industrial companies as well as other firms related which financial services, transport and farming. Nevertheless, only a few members of the Spanish community became businessmen. We can not speak at all about a "privileged migration" since most of the Spaniards riving in Mexico were wage earned.
