Abstract

RODRIGUEZ ESPINOSA, Holmes; RESTREPO BETANCUR, Luis Fernando  and  ARANZAZU, Diego. Digital literacy and learning management systems (LMS) in university teaching. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2014, vol.43, n.171, pp.139-159. ISSN 0185-2760.

Teacher's computer literacy and learning management system (LMS) used in higher education and the influence of gender, age, teaching experience and type of linkage to the University, were analyzed. Statistical difference between gender about ICT knowledge used in teaching, was found, where women had a better knowledge. In addition, a statistical difference between age groups in teachers computer literacy, was detected (p<0,05), where groups under 40 years old had a better level. A relationship between LMS' use and teacher's computer literacy was not found.
