This article focuses on the iconographic study of a sculptural piece from the archaeological site of Calixtlahuaca, State of Mexico, which is associated with the religious numen known as Cihuacoatl, whose main attributes are fertility, and some aspects of political and military power among the Mexica. From its study we intend to explain its presence in the archaeological zone of Calixtlahuaca, seat of one of the most important Matlatzinca settlements in the Toluca Valley during the Postclassic period.
