Current infrastructure is supported through virtualization via hypervisors. In this paper, we describe the formal specification of a high-level component for enhancing hypervisors. With this component, applications running in a Virtual Machine can receive a Quality of Service defined by Service Level Objectives. The manager is aware of the application's needs and requests the CPU resources through the lifetime of the Virtual Machine. The implementation of our proposal achieves to manage computing-oriented and net-oriented applications.]]></p></abstract>
