Volume eight number three, corresponding to April of 2018, of Psychological Research Records, includes a series of articles, that cover topics ranging from comparative psychology, to experimental, to community, to development, to psychometrics and social. For example, in the field of development we present three manuscripts, one dealing with impaired neurodevelopment due to malnutrition and adequate stimulation at rural children, another one on mathematical development in school children dealing with their cardinality capacity; one more on the ‘normal’ emission of behaviors of ADHD kids. For the area of comparative experimental psychology, with clear implications for the field of obesity, an interesting paper appears on the temporal persistence of binge eating behavior in a rat model. The development of valid, reliable and culturally sensitive and relevant measures, is represented by an article on the development of a multidimensional inventory of dating for teens and a scale of attitudes towards drug trafficking in students. The last three papers are inserted in the social field and refer to the relationship between juvenile male identities, some socio-cultural elements and their relationship with a disposition to crime; another article about gender identity which describes the predictors of ambivalent sexism towards men, and a study of the field of emotions that indicates the effect that consistent verbal context has in the recognition of expressions of disgust and anger. As in all volumes of Psychological Research Records, I extend my thanks for the meticulous work of the reviewers of the editorial Committee and the contribution of high quality original research by our colleagues in the scientific community.
