Abstract

LILLO MUNOZ, Daniela. Politics, Body and School: Feminist Expressions within the Framework of the 2011-2016 Middle School Student Movement in Chile. Debate fem. [online]. 2020, vol.59, pp.72-93.  Epub Apr 30, 2020. ISSN 2594-066X.  https://doi.org/10.22201/cieg.2594066xe.2020.59.04.

This article is an attempt to periodize and analyze the feminisms that arose in the context of the Chilean student movement of recent years (2011-2016) through the concepts of body and school as political devices and in relation to middle school students. The conclusions indicate that the student movement marked a new stage from 2011 to the present, mainly differentiated by the inclusion of demands for a non-sexist education, expressed by students from and against schools and using the abjectly stressed body as the main tool.

Keywords : Student movement; Feminism; Body; School.
