The mature teratoma is the subtype of germ cell tumor that includes the three germ layers. The most common presentation in pediatrics is extragonadal, on rare occasions monodermal component tumors are observed, which usually present at the gonadal level. We present the case of a 13-year-old female adolescent patient with one year of evolution with abdominal tumor. Ultrasound, tomography and resonance studies showed heterogeneous tumor, with slight elevation of CA-125: laparotomy and complete resection of the lesion was performed, with a weight of 11.2 kg. Histopathological report: monodermal mature teratoma.
