Abstract

A multiple primary malignancy (MPN) is evidence of two or more histologically different malignancies presenting in the same patient. A series of cases have been reported worldwide, however, in Venezuela there are no cases or reported incidence. The following is the case of an 82-year-old patient in whom the coexistence of a renal sarcomatoid carcinoma with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, the association of which is poorly described. Early diagnosis of MPN leads to effective treatment, giving the patient better survival and quality of life.
