Abstract

Cardiac angiosarcomas are rare diseases, but are the most frequent malignant cardiac tumors. Its early diagnosis is difficult because of manifested signs and nonspecific symptoms, are associated with a worse prognosis. We present the case of an adult patient in a situation of cardiogenic shock, because of a cardiac tamponade, being the cause of a cardiac angiosarcoma. The patient subsequently received emergent surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy.

The patient died within four months of the diagnosis
