Abstract

The present essay studies the debate brought about within the sphere of the emergence of a public opinion around a group of radical students coming from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) known as Los Enfermos. Similarly, the work addresses different scopes which include the first manifestations of the existence of such group, the controversy generated regarding the role of the University in the so-called Enfermo problem, the incorporation of this grouping to various social struggles that took place in the capital of Sinaloa, and finally how the public opinion was structured and the role it played on this topic.
