Abstract

The objective of the present work is to present the results of the evaluation of satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the National Fund for the Promotion of Handicrafts (FONART). The method used was the model of structural equations with latent variables. The results show that the program has areas of opportunity linked to its design and implementation, for that reason artisans assign the grade of 7.2 on a scale of 1 to 10. Relevance of findings, artisans such as handicrafts isan underserved area on the part of the public policy designers, this is why it is necessary to establish actions to improve the standard of living of artisans, the community environment and the family integration of the beneficiaries of the program. Limitations, since this is a cross-sectional study, no causal inferences can be made.
