Abstract

ARCURI, Arline Sydneia Abel et al. Governance, nanotechnology and the need for training the workforce. Mundo nano [online]. 2022, vol.15, n.28, e00042.  Epub Mar 22, 2022. ISSN 2448-5691.  https://doi.org/10.22201/ceiich.24485691e.2022.28.69677.

This article aims to highlight the contributions of the project “Impacts of nanotechnologies on workers’ health” developed by Fundacentro, Brazil, between 2006 and 2019, for the training of workers with a view to the participatory governance in nanotechnology. As indicators of these contributions, it was used the description of the actions developed and a collection of citations found on the Internet about the project, especially those produced by unions or workers’ organizations. On this way, uncovering the actions developed and the references made about these actions on the Internet and publications on the topic, it is possible not only to guarantee the relevance of the project, but also to obtain a consistent indication of the scope and dissemination of the knowledges addressed.

Keywords : participatory governance; public policies; nantechnology; workers’ training.
