From José María Infante’s investigation about the options for democracy in New Leonese citizens, a reply and complementary notes are prepared to show the proclivity to other options. The theoretical development is extended, and emphasis is placed on four options omitted from the survey used, that are related to liquid democracy. The results presented here, unlike Infante, show other predilections and a preferential ranking in relation to the liquid model that mixes the various representative democratic modalities with the participatory ones. The conclusions differ with those of Infante regarding the intention for delegative democracy and the interpretation of specialists to make community decisions; they also justify the suggestions to raise the quality of democracy.
