Abstract

RIVERA ESPINOSA, Ramón. Legal anthropology and urban space in the Valley of Mexico. Textual anál. medio rural latinoam. [online]. 2017, n.70, pp.69-87. ISSN 2395-9177.  https://doi.org/10.5154/r.textual.2017.70.005.

A significant number of people from Indian towns live in Mexico’s cities, where they maintain expressions of legal experiences of their communities, which are confronted with public law. These experiences make the tradition, cultural identity and contact with the community of origin persist; in a conjuncture of vindication, denial and confrontation, in the daily experience of the capital city.

Keywords : Anthropology; Legal; space; urban.
