Abstract

DIAZ-MARTINEZ, M.A.; CRUZ-MENDEZ, A.L.  and  RUIZ-DOMINGUEZ, H.S.. Diagnostic and self-assessment instrument to measure the organizational conditions towards the new industrial revolution 4.0. RIIIT. Rev. int. investig. innov. tecnol. [online]. 2018, vol.6, n.35. ISSN 2007-9753.

Industry 4.0 is related to every place, at all times and with the use and implementation of new technologies for the continuous improvement of industrial processes. The improvement of the organizational environment through the intervention of a culture oriented towards the 4.0 industry will bring a high level condition. As part of the growth of an organization, it is important that day by day it adapts to technological changes and not only be up to date in the implementation of regulations and policies that impact on workers' operations or occupational safety. Currently many organizations are adding to their training plans an issue that is constantly involved in the reduction of production times and process optimization, which is Industry 4.0. Some of the elements covered by this industry are the use of autonomous equipment, robotics, process simulators, 3D printers, artificial intelligence and equipment that share information in real time. However, before proceeding to training on the culture oriented to the industry 4.0, it is necessary to make an evaluation of the organizations to know how much is necessary to adapt to this new generation of technologies since many organizations are already entering this technological path. That is why in this work we intend to implement a digital self-diagnosis instrument that will reveal the organizational conditions and the usability percentage of the 4.0 technology elements, as well as the reliability of the instrument, applying an alpha reliability test. Cronbach, that will allow us to know the coefficient of acceptability of the instrument. This instrument was applied to various organizations such as: liquefied gas, automation, automotive, mining, food, transportation. The conclusions and results reports from this tool will serve as the basis for a necessary internal reflection in each organization. A reflection that allows planning the development and implementation of specific actions and projects, with which it can increase its competitiveness and efficiency in the current and future market.

Keywords : Industry 4.0; organizational maturity; digital self-diagnosis.
