VAZQUEZ GONZALEZ, Edgar René. Knowledge and technology transfer in universities. Iztapalapa. Rev. cienc. soc. humanid. [online]. 2017, vol.38, n.83, pp.75-95. ISSN 2007-9176. https://doi.org/10.28928/revistaiztapalapa/832017/atc3/vazquezgonzalezer.
In this article, we present a proposal for a knowledge and technology transfer model for universities, based on a systemic analysis of the literature review. The problem posed by the study revolves around how the economic, social, and technological context has led universities to establish links with the productive sector to respond to the needs of society. However, in developing countries this relationship has not consolidated, despite their great potential to develop this activity. The analysis consisted of reviewing the context and literature about knowledge and technology transfer in universities. It is a predominantly qualitative study, through the method of systemic review of the literature, which allowed us to know the phases of the knowledge and technology transfer process. We were also able to identify the management factors that constitute the proposal of a knowledge transfer management model for universities, this finding being the main contribution of the study. Nonetheless, to corroborate the proposed model, it will be necessary to carry out research with a greater level of depth and methodological rigor.
