The central areas of Mexico city in recent years have been impacted by an unprecedented dynamism property. In this paper the increasing difficulty for people to live and stay that space is analyzed. The Renovación Habitacional Popular program (RHP) was a milestone in the housing policy for supporting more than families could maintain their central location, their neighborhoods and their lifestyles. Three decades after its application, it is necessary to check the living conditions found in this large urban park.
