Abstract

FIGUEROA PEREA, Juan Guillermo. Some dialogic proposals for connecting parenting, health and mortality. Iztapalapa. Rev. cienc. soc. humanid. [online]. 2014, vol.35, n.77, pp.55-75. ISSN 2007-9176.  https://doi.org/10.28928/ri/772014/atc2/figueroapereajg.

The study of the relationship between reproductive behaviors and health includes maternal and child morbidity and mortality, since women and children may experience risks in this process. Few references are made to the father, in terms of health and even less so if one consider mortality risks associated with their reproductive experiences. This text reflects on the fathering, health and mortality trinomial while seeking to identify possibilities of analyzing them together.

Keywords : reproductive behaviors; men; gender.
