The purpose of this text is to present a reasoned discussion on Bourdieu’s theory of society which has two dimensions: on the one hand, it is a system of relations of meaning, and a system of relations of power, on the other. This social theory leans on two main concepts, that of field and that of habitus; these notions are developed and interwoven along the text in order to show as a result the logic of the social.
