Abstract

ROSAS FLORES, Miguel Ángel. Relationship between the use of technology in higher-level students with their academic performance in contingency situations due to COVID-19. Dilemas contemp. educ. política valores [online]. 2021, vol.9, n.spe1, 00045.  Epub Jan 31, 2022. ISSN 2007-7890.  https://doi.org/10.46377/dilemas.v9i.2952.

Education in Mexico has undergone a great transformation due to all the events derived from the COVID-19 health contingency that has impacted not only Mexico, but the whole world. The use of educational platforms grew due to the need to have an interaction, at least visual, between teacher-student; and as a strategy to teach classes, which has forced students, who are still continuing their education, to have to hire internet services from their families or themselves. The objective is to analyze if the new dynamics used to provide education at the undergraduate level, has contributed to the academic performance of the students, making them have the necessary skills.

Keywords : education; academic performance; technology; COVID-19.
