Currently, in the case of Ecuador, the Law degree needs to adopt new methodological strategies to make learning more participatory and dynamic. One of these innovations lies in the introduction of mental models as a strategy for developer learning during the case study; Therefore, the authors propose as the objective of this article, to illustrate a case study opting for mental models as protagonists of knowledge and information. For this, a relevant topic was chosen, such as the “Odebrecht Case” in Ecuador.
