Abstract

The violation of the intangibility of workers' rights through the Humanitarian Support Law, which empowers the employer to reduce working hours, and consequently, to reduce remuneration, violates the Constitution and international treaties on the matter ratified by Ecuador; as such, the objective of this work is to substantiate the violation of this constitutional principle provided for in article 20 of the Humanitarian Law, which consequently affects the remuneration received by the worker.
