Abstract

In this article, the Intensity-Duration-Frequency curve (IDF curve) for Chone basin were made from the maximum annual intensity data for durations of 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 120, 360, 1440 minutes. These data were subjected to functions of probabilistic distributions of best fit, determined by the least standar error. The results of this research were compared with the information provided by INAMHI in 1999 and 2015.
