Abstract

GALLEGOS ANTUNEZ, Rosa Elena; FLORES MEJIA, Jesús Guillermo  and  VELAZQUEZ GATICA, Belén. Self-knowledge groups with Psychology students. Dilemas contemp. educ. política valores [online]. 2020, vol.8, n.spe5, 00020.  Epub Jan 28, 2021. ISSN 2007-7890.  https://doi.org/10.46377/dilemas.v8i.2499.

The objective of this work was to develop self-knowledge groups that allow students of the Bachelor of Psychology at the Autonomous University of Guerrero to identify the importance of self-knowledge personally and in their professional training. We worked with a group of 20 second-semester students and a semi-structured interview was done before and after the development of the work in the self-knowledge groups. Significant changes in their ways of perceiving personal work were recognized in students, recognizing it not only as a professional but also a personal need. The information from the interviews applied before and after the intervention confirms the scope of this type of Gestalt group work with university students.

Keywords : Self-knowledge; Self-knowledge groups; personal work.
