GAZCA HERRERA, Luis Alejandro; GARIZURIETA BERNABE, Jessica  and  MUNOZ MARTINEZ, Arely Yazmín. Academic tutoring has been considered a tool to achieve the graduation on time of students and decrease school dropout. However, in the last generations of the postgraduate under study, the obtaining of degree has not been on time, so it is necessary to evaluate the process of the tutorial program, to work on the continuous improvement of the student's accompaniment. For this purpose, a research was carried out with a mixed, documentary, descriptive, explanatory and correlational approach, trough the analysis of various specialized sources in the subject, in order to characterize the problem and identified this causes, at the same time, measured the degree of relationship between dimensions and variables; and the methods of judgment of experts and alpha of Cronbach were applied, in order to validate the data collection instrument, and after the quantitative analysis, the qualitative analysis was carried out. The results allow to visualize a constant and opportune about the school trajectory, however, it is appreciated the lack of a planning between the tutor and the tutoring, according to the needs of the student, so that, he be able to take advantage of the postgraduate. Also, the correlational analysis determines a considerable relationship between the dimensions resulting from the operationalization process. Therefore, it is possible to conclude that academic tutorials, according to the perception of students, are real support for their trajectory and the obtaining of degree, and if does not apply correctly, this can be negatively reflected in the degree process and in the exceed of the time established for the degree.
