Abstract

BENITEZ PEZZOLANO, Hebert. Autonomy and posautonomy literatures. Critique of a Misunderstanding. Valenciana [online]. 2017, vol.10, n.20, pp.335-360. ISSN 2007-2538.  https://doi.org/10.15174/rv.v0i20.332.

From a critique of the dichotomy between description and valuation in literary studies, the present work proposes a theoretical discussion that aims at the reconsideration of the topic of literary autonomy understood as a complex category. The examination of the different historical moments of the same and the relation with the question of the value in the literary works derives, in the present work, in a defense of its critical force and in the justified refutation of the concept of "posautonomous literatures" raised by the argentine essayist Josefina Ludmer.

Keywords : Theory; Literary autonomy; Modernity; Posautonomy; J. Ludmer.
