Abstract

VILARROIG MARTIN, Jaime. Unamuno and Nietzsche or Quixote versus Zarathustra. Valenciana [online]. 2017, vol.10, n.19, pp.279-305. ISSN 2007-2538.  https://doi.org/10.15174/rv.v0i19.186.

This paper offers various interpretations on Unamuno’s reception of Nietzsche’s philosophy. We study directly the sources of these reception, with an original hypothesis. After that, a figure of Nietzsche is drawn, attending to Unamuno’s point of view and his favorite subjects like: Übermensch, anticristianism, pangermanism, EwigeWiederkunft, and the will of immortality. Finally, we’ll point on some convergences and divergences between both authors.

Keywords : Unamuno; Nietzsche; Interpretation; EwigeWiederkunft; Übermensch.
