Abstract

HONORES VASQUEZ, Elton. La casa como espacio fantástico en cinco narradores latinoamericanos: Palma, Adolph, Prochazka, Mutis y Levrero. Valenciana [online]. 2010, vol.3, n.6, pp.69-90. ISSN 2007-2538.

The house as a fantastic space in twentieth-century Latin American literature has been studied from various fictional perspectives, which give rise to a multitude of situations and variations, both realistic as unrealistic. In this paper we analyze some texts related to the fantastic, in Peruvian and Latin American literature, where the house is built mainly as a key space for the eruption of the impossible, establishing networks and intertextualities within his own tradition. For our 70 analysis we will focus on texts by five authors: Clemente Palma, José B. Adolph, Enrique Prochazka, Alvaro Mutis and Mario Levrero.

Keywords : Peruvian literature; fantastic tales; the house.
