This article aims to identify the stereotypical representations and narratives that users of digital information platforms and social networks in Mexico have expressed about the day-to-day activities of teachers, and which became viral during the COVID-19 lockdown. This descriptive-interpretive research analyzes content that went viral on digital information platforms and social networks, where we identified biases expressed in stereotypical narratives about teachers in two cases, which help us consider the stereotypes and how the online work of teachers has been represented during the pandemic.

Keywords : pandemic; remote teaching; teachers; viralization; narratives; stereotypes.
