Abstract

ESPINOZA VERDUZCO, Cuauhtémoc. Educational policy and private higher education in Mexico from 1990 to 2016. Diálogos sobre educ. Temas actuales en investig. educ. [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.18, 00011. ISSN 2007-2171.

This paper analyzes higher education policies in Mexico from the 1990s to 2016, as well as the expansion process experienced by private higher education institutions in the same period. The study reveals the influence of international organizations in Mexico’s educational policies and the characteristics of private HEIs throughout this period.
