Objective

To describe the processes that breast cancer patients undergo. This work used the narration of a woman who suffered from the disease, as well as a brief psychotherapy proposal for patients diagnosed at stage zero, one and two is presented.

Method

Case of a patient who continues in breast cancer treatment. It should be noted that life history is unique and unrepeatable. It cannot be generalized, or make a social representation, although it is similar all over the world.

Results

The qualitative research allows observing the process of the disease: diagnosis, treatment and conclusion of breast cancer.

Conclusions

the physical, psychological and spiritual sufferings are similar in different parts of the world, women have the same problems, but psychological treatment that received is different, hence the proposal of brief psychotherapy that is presented.
