Abstract

CASANOVA-PEREZ, Lorena et al. The agroecosystem understood from the theory of autopoietic social systems. Rev. Mex. Cienc. Agríc [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.4, pp.855-865. ISSN 2007-0934.

Luhmann constructs a systemic and large scale functional theory based on concepts previously conceived by classical and contemporary authors of sociology and other areas of knowledge. This conceptual theoretical framework has been used in this experiment to construct an approximation of Mexican agricultural reality. This required an assembly between communication systems and agro-ecosystem, the latter as a conceptual model of autopoiesis recipient of the "subsistence production", "production in transition" and "business production" through structural couplings systems with the systems of conscience that from an agroecological approach are the drivers of the agroecosystem; i.e. subsistence producers, in transition and businessmen, actors responsible for the diachronic and differentiated transformation of management practices that characterize them.

Keywords : agriculture; autopoiesis; communication systems; management practices; systems of consciousness.
