Abstract

This paper discusses the competitive advantage as sthe result that firms seek to achieve in a global and hypercompetitive, to achieve this we need strategies that encourage these competitive advantages in a changing and dynamic environment, one of these strategies is integrated logistics, which seeks to balance the structure of the business value chain and achieve efficient interaction and operation areas in a way that the activities projected value creation in SMEs sector footwear. The operations of small and medium companies have a particular context where advantages and disadvantages, which can be consolidated or not a company at the international level, prior to this it necessary to consider the implementation of the logistics that drives change and consolidation the creation of business value. 60 surveys were applied to SME companies attached to the camera shoe and the database COFOCE (Coordinator for the Promotion of Foreign Trade of the State of Guanajuato), where in addition to implementing the survey, made a tour of the facilitiestions and chatted informally reality and context of the company, which also generated useful qualitative information. This is intended to know the reality of small and medium-sized companies in Leon, Guanajuato, to identify the aspects necessary to reverse these disadvantages identified, including lack of development of logistics, absence of strategic planning, application of information technology and communication, lack of international competitiveness and lack of value creation along the chain of business value.
